The department's mission is to serve, safeguard and preserve life, health, safety and property of the public and business interests within the City of Eden community through professional, cost efficient and effective fire control, fire prevention and public education. 

The department has an ISO of 3 with service available beyond the corporate limits. 

Programs and Tours

Programs on various aspects of public fire safety are available to be presented to any group free of charge. We encourage citizens and groups (church, civic, school, etc.) to stop by and take a tour of any station.

Smoke Alarms and Battery Replacement

A properly installed and working smoke detector will increase the chance of your family's survival in a fire by 50 percent. Please call us at 336-623-9820 for a smoke alarm (with installation) or battery replacement.

Training Facility

This facility was completed in 2021 and is located behind Station 4. It is used by various emergency organizations to train personnel.
