Boards and Commissions are made up of citizens appointed by the Mayor and Council:

  • Board of Adjustment hears appeals from citizens regarding decisions or determinations made by the zoning administrator on the zoning ordinance.

  Meets (as cases arise) the first Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

  • Community Appearance Commission works on beautification projects and develops programs that promote improved appearance of the community.

      Meets the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.


  • Eden Youth Council dedicated to personal development and servant leadership, empowered to meet the needs of the youth of our community.

      Meets the first Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. 

  • Historic Preservation Commission works to promote, protect and preserve the history of the community with the authority to designate and regulate historic landmarks and districts. 

      Meets the second Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

  • Planning Board makes recommendations on matters pertaining to land use and zoning issues in the community.
     
      Meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

  • Tree Board works on projects which promote the importance of trees to the community and the environment.
     
      Meets the third Monday of the month at noon.
